I SUFFER FROM PULMONARY LUNG DISEASE WILL MY BREATHLESNESS EVER GET BETTER?

If you have been diagnosed as having COPD (Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease) there is no reason why you should not live something approaching a normal life.

I hate to be blunt but there is no known cure but the progress of the disease can be slowed and managed and quality of life improved.

Check with your GP as to the availability of Chest Clinics for COPD sufferers in your area. An exercise regime, breathing exercises etc can improve lung function somewhat and teach you how to cope better with breathlessness and panic attacks.

I have COPD and refuse to let it interfere too much with normal living. Most times it just means that I have to do things slower and take things easier than in the past.

Good luck and don’t let things grind you down.

only your doctor can tell you that. We are not qualified and can only guess. we don’t know your medical history nor what your doctor expects to happen.

COPD is not curable, and won’t necessarily improve unless your meds dosage wasn’t correct
but with the appropriate medication and support it can be managed
