Is there a lung infection or virus going around right now?

My friend and I both have a nasty infection in our lungs. Is there a virus or somthing going around? I read about both bacterial and viral infection. Our doctors arent even sure what we have. Just keep giving us antibotics. Our symptoms are below. Plus on the first couple days of getting sick we both had a strange rash that only lasted one day. Any ideas??

dry cough, low-grade fever, headache, Nasal Congestion, sore throat,
Cough — dry, can have sputum
Chest pain — especially with breathing, and on one side
Chills
Shortness of breath, especially with activity

i have this and i live in arkansas!
I guess it’s just going around
plus i had a little diarhera or whatever for a day but ive had this infection for a while now
