Is it bad to have an infection in your lung?
February 25th, 2010 | by admin |Ok so yesterday my dad fainted & they took him to the hospital. At the hospital they told him it was because his left lung was infected. My question is,is it bad to have that kind of infection? And was the faint because of that or was it something else.He said he started coughing real hard and that’s when he fainted.
It is very likely that your father fainted after not getting enough oxygen from coughing so hard and for so long. A lung infection is a serious matter and should be treated exactly as directed by the doctor. He needs to make sure he takes any prescribed meds, especially antibiotics to clear up the infection.
You sound like a loving daughter to be so concerned about your dad. Hope he’s better soon.
