January 20th, 2010 | by admin |ive been on anti biotics but its made me feel worse
and ive had stabbing pains in my left lung
do you think the doctor could of got my diagnosis wrong
Make an appointment with your doc today!
I don’t think your docs diagnosis is wrong, but things may have altered since he last saw you. It is definitely time to go back to the doctor, especially if this has happened since starting ab’s.
With your history it is possible that you could have developed a partial pneumothorax (partially collapsed lung). It’s nothing to panic about, but you need to get an X-ray to check it out asap. This is more likely if you are someone with a tall, skinny build and have been coughing lots!
Be careful about taking medical advice on what is an ‘open site’. Advice is predominantly from laypersons and may be completely wrong -which could either make you complacent about a condition, or scare the beejeesus out if you!!!!!

See your health care provider as soon as possible. That depends on your diagnosis like stabbing pain in the lungs. Susceptibility to pulmonary embolism, which generally develops only after surgery or prolonged bed rest, is not inherited directly. However, two risk factors for the condition-obesity and severe varicose veins–do run in families. Other risk factors include heart failure, certain cancers, a history of phlebitis (inflamed veins), and long rides in trains and air planes. People predisposed to pulmonary embolism may receive anticlotting medication after they’ve undergone abdominal, pelvic, or certain orthopedic operations– or if they’ll be bedridden for a long time or taking a long flight. I hope this helps you. And good luck.

A DOCTOR WILL KNOW THAT U HAVE A CHEST AND LUNG INFECTION FROM TAKING A CHEST X-RAY. USUALLY IT IS FLUID BACK UP IN YOUR LUNGS IF. THE ANTIBIOTICS IS NOT WORKING U WILL 2 ASK YOUR DR. FOR STEROIDS, AND A PUMP.
