Heart & Lung Transplant Fundraiser.?
January 7th, 2010 | by admin |My father has a disorder called Eisenmenger’s syndrome. It caused him to go into congestive heart failure. With this, my father was put on the heart & lung transplant list. This transplant is somewhere between one and two million dollars. Although the insurance company my mother has through work will help, we were told we should start small and raise money. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on where we should begin to look for fund-raising information. Or if anyone had any good fund-raising ideas. I realize that this requires a lot of time and hard work. Let me know if you have any idea’s, no matter how small.
I have done some fundraisers for the Relay for Life before… I know its a little different, but some things I often did was go to restaurants and asked them if i could hold a fundraiser there… I know applebees and texas roadhouse let the relay for life do fundraisers there… my parents also rented out a hall and did a beef and beer where they had their friends and family buy tickets for themselves and others that would go and they did raffles… I know lots of people who have done car washes and even stood outside of a grocery store collecting money…. good luck!!!
