20 yr old girl, has 2 collapsed lungs, now has assisted breathing via machine,?

can a full recovery be made, and a normal life lead, no previous lung disorder, she is not conscious atm and been in this state for the past 3 days,

I would imagine it depends on the cause behind the collapsed lungs though having just looked at this sight there are suggestions of how to treat yourself at home so if thats the case recovery looks good to me huns :)
