How can one reverse or improve COPD or similar respirator diseases?

September 30th, 2009 | by admin |

COPD cant be reversed. Once you have it, you have it for life but there are different therapies to help reduce your symptoms, improve quality of life, and encourage your active participation in your treatment. It will not reverse the damage to your lungs already caused by COPD. Instead, it will help you improve your ability to carry out daily tasks, such as dressing, grocery shopping, and walking, within the limits of the disease.

If you smoke and dont have COPD yet. Quit smoking now!!

Unfortunately, there is no reversal of COPD or most other respiratory disorders. You can, however, help slow down the exacerbation of symptoms by doing some of the following preventative measures: smoking cessation, breathing exercises, plenty of rest, staying well hydrated (unless in a COPD crisis, then water restriction is best), decrease your stressors.
